We had our second Sabbath meeting on September 30 at 11:00 AM.  We had one guest who has read through the Bible and concluded that the Sabbath is on Saturday.  We read through chapters 7-9 in the book of Luke.  These chapters contained teachings about growth as Christians which also apply to church growth.  Once again, we enjoyed the opportunity to pray openly, personally, and corporately as a small body.

We are presently investigating the rules for sign permits in the city of Hoover.  We had been warned of the loss of $1000 worth of signs by our host church.  We want to make sure that we don't repeat that experience!

As we take steps to bring people in, we are challenged with the fact that we need to have interesting and fulfilling material available to study.  At the same time, since we are at the beginning, we need to be sure that anyone who visits on a given Sabbath doesn't feel lost by starting in the middle of a course of material.  Please be in prayer for us, and we welcome suggestions!
